Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty, born November 1, 1995 was raised in Berkeley, California. She's an actress well-known for her roles in Choices (2010, The Heart and Other Small Shapes, 2006) and Chrissie Mair's Content House, 2022.
Asia Argento was raised in Rome by a acting and film-making family. She pursued both professions her own. The actress made her film debut when she was nine years old in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni. In 1988 she was the lead of Cristina Comencini's Zoo and part of Michele Soavi's The Church. In the following year, she appeared as Nanni Moretti's daughter Red Wood Pigeon It was when she starred in Close Friends written and directed by Michele Placido, that Asia's career really took off and she was able to move on from playing very young girls into more mature, complex characters. Cannes International Film Festival received the film well. The film was made with her father for the very the first time Trauma which was directed by the acclaimed Italian director of horror, Dario Argento. Her mother, Daria Nicoleli, is the most adored actress of Argento, as she portrayed an orexic trying to track down the killer of her parents. Asia has collaborated with Dario Argento on three movies, Trauma, The Stendhal Syndrome as well as The Phantom of the Opera. In the film Condannato a nozze, Asia's absorption technique of powerful acting was well utilized. In 1993, Asia starred in the role of Arianna the disabled child in the film Perdiamoci by Carlo Verdone di vista. The film released on May 1, 2000 in Italy as well as all over the world. This film was awarded at the Williamsburg Festival of Brooklyn, New York.
